Technology

Engine/ Fuel Efficiency

The in-line-4-cylinder 16 valve SOHC i-VTEC engine has a horsepower of 141 and 127 lb-ft of torque. The 6-speed manual transmission and available continuously variable transmission (CVT) with sport mode is available on the standard model. The combined fuel efficiency rating is 28 MPG ( this increases to 29 MPG with the CVT transmission). The HR-V was named the 2016 Green SUV of the Year by Green Car Journal.

All safety features come as standard and include but are not limited to, vehicle stability assist with traction control, electronic brake distribution, daytime running lights and multi-angle rear view camera.
