5. 2016 Lexus RX 450h
It remains as stylish as ever in its exterior yet the RX has taken a huge step in its interior comfort and its engine capacity and fuel efficiency. There are options to take a hybrid model and the interior has become much more plush, as well as more comfortable and lumbar supportive seating.
The RX 450h comes with 20″ full alloy standard tires. These compliment the nice curvy wheel fenders, and intimidating grille with epic triple HD headlights, and signal indicators on both mirrors.
Standard interior features include; keyless ignition entry, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, double automatic climate control, a nine-speaker with surround, and an iPod/USB interface functionality. It also has a Sport driving mode which makes driving a rewarding and exciting experience. It has standard, easy reclining rear seats and a folding center armrest. The options include leather upholstery finish, heated front seats, rear-view camera and navigation system.
Engine / Fuel Efficiency
It is, surprisingly, very efficient in terms of fuel consumption, and can cover up to 30 miles per gallon. It has a big 3.5 L hybrid V6 engine which produces a whooping 295 horsepower at 6300 rpm. That is no mean task for this hybrid type, which apart from the attractive exterior, and luxuriant upholstery can also be super tough on off road terrains.
As standard, the RX 450h comes equipped as standard with several safety features including stability control, electronic traction control, brake assist system, front airbags, and front airbag occupant sensors. There is a panic button or alarm, anti-theft protection, and an engine immobilizer also included as standard with the 2016 model.
