8. 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible
Let’s be honest, any improvements to the Corvette Zo6 are going to be minor, you simply can’t expect one of the greatest cars ever to get significantly better! The only real difference between the 2015 and the 2016 model is the lessening the 0-60 time from 3.3 seconds to 2.95. Other than that, it’s still one of the most amazing cars on the planet. The 2016 Chevrolet Corvette is lighter compared to its predecessor. This will certainly improve its performance while reducing fuel consumption at the same time.
Available in grey, white, black, silver, brick red, deep red, blue, and racing yellow, you’re spoiled for choice in the look of this car. Originally meant to be a convertible, this car boats little to no drag and it’s design pushes the performance of the car to the limit. It has wider wheels to give grip, large vents in the hood that allow cooling air into the engine, brakes, and transmission. And stands at an aggressive and powerful width.
There are unique interior color schemes available as well as either grand touring or competitive seats. These seats are built for comfort when speeding around corners. There is a unique flat-bottom steering wheel.
There is an 8″ touch screen display that is equipped with MyLink. Using controls on the steering wheel, as well as voice and hand gesture recognition you can talk, text, and stream music without taking your hands from the steering wheel.
There is optional ApplePlay and 4G LTE Wi-Fi integrated into the system also. With the OnStar RemoteLink you can remote start your car, lock or unlock it from anywhere, and activate the horn to help you find it.
Engine/ Fuel Efficiency
The standard key features of the Chevy Corvette Z06 include a 6.2L V-8 DI engine with 650 horsepower. A 7-speed manual transmission comes as standard with the option of an 8-speed paddle shift transmission. The Corvette Zo6 is surprisingly economical with an EPA fuel economy of 22 MPG on the highway.
All safety features come as standard in the 2016 Corvette including driver and passenger airbags, active handling stability control, front curb view cameras, performance traction management and traction control, all speed.
