The 2019 Jaguar I-Pace is Jaguar’s first all-electronic car. It is a 5-seat SUV and an all-wheel drive, with a power of 394hp. It is powered by two electric motors; with an addition of its 90Kwh Lithium-ion battery, it covers up to a range of a240-mile drive. It can acquire a speed of 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.
The 2019 Jaguar I-Pace has an aluminium structure. It has a structural component under the floor with the casing where the battery pack is located. The positioning of the battery pack offers balance for the vehicle, giving it a low center of gravity, making the I-Pace a stable car. It has a grill that curves to the inside and directs the flow of air through the hood scoop, reducing drag and enabling maximum efficiency and speed.
The I-Pace comes with stylish optional new-generation LED lights for both head and tail lights and a glass roof. The exterior has an aerodynamic design that makes the I-Pace streamlined.
The I-Pace offers a luxurious feel in the interior, as expected from a Jaguar executive car. Since there is no diesel engine in the hood, the windshields are pushed forward, therefore creating more room for the cabin. It gives the I-Pace that unique VIP feel. Using the latest technologies, the 2019 SUV has an air conditioning system that can be pre-conditioned before you get in the car using a smartphone application. There is also a touchscreen interface with D, N, R, and P gearshift buttons strategically placed on a console between sheets.
Performance and charging
The I-Pace is an all wheel drive SUV with power of up to 394hp and a maximum torque of 512lb-ft. It can be charged at home as it comes with a 7 Kw single-phase AC charger; it can be used with a Jaguar-approved home charger or, though slower, plugged in directly to a domestic socket. It can also be charged in public charging stations. A 50 kW DC charger can give the I-Pace an 80% charge in 85 minutes.
This is an all-new revolutionary technology in driving. It is also great that the all-new electric experience does not change the way of driving.
