Exterior Features
The external design of the 2019 SUV oozes a special kind of class. The sleek front design and rear skid plates are a highlight of what an SUV with class should look like. Certainly, the 2019 Ford Edge design is meant for those who would love to see their SUV have side cladding and chrome inserts. The car is equally fortified with 20-inch bright machined aluminum wheels and a dash of premium black stainless pockets.

Interior Features
The interior of the 2019 Ford Edge retains an all too familiar five-seat cabin including several other infotainment and connectivity features. However, the center console comes with a new rotary dial shifter. Thanks to the Ford + Alexa app infusion, the infotainment system allows the driver to connect directly to their smart home assistant from the comfort of their car.
Safety
The 2019 Ford Edge is equally fortified with safety features that may be well above any presented by competitors. Every variation of the Ford Edge will be enhanced with an automated braking system, blind spot monitoring, front collision warning, lane alignment assist, automatic high beams, and lane departure warning as standard equipment.

Technology
2019 Edge will have, for the first time, a co-pilot technology. This system will enhance safety, improve driver’s driving experience, and equally change the face of SUV designs.
Engine
The 2019 Ford Edge will be powered by a 2.oL 4-cylinder Ecoboost engine that should deliver an estimated 250 horsepower in addition to a 380lb-ft of torque and a standard edition eight-speed transmission. It equally features an impeccable all-wheel drive coupled with race-driven paddle shifters and sport inclined suspension.
This means that, like most Edge models, the 2019 version will likely not be light weight.
