The 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser returns with very few changes from its 2016 makeover. Last year the model saw a new transmission, revised exterior styling, and a lot of new technology. All the same, the Land Cruiser is well worth checking out for 2017.
Exterior Features
The newest Land Cruiser’s exterior design is pretty refreshing. There have been small foglights installed into the front bumper and a new chrome grille has been placed up front too. 18.5″ 5-spoke alloy wheels are standard as in a color-keyed rear spoiler and also a roof rack.

Interior Features
The interior for the 2017 model has been upgraded to be more stylish and modern. There’s a brand new control panel and the upholstery has also been improved to increase comfort. The seats are heated and ventilated as standard and the driver’s seat comes 10-way power-adjustable. There’s also a 3-position memory function and power lumbar support for the driver’s seat. The 2nd and 3rd rows are split folding too.
Safety
Standard safety features are a big plus to the Land Cruiser. The Star Safety System with stability control, traction control, brake assist and more is a standard feature. In addition to the systems included, airbags are standard – 10 in total placed all over the vehicle. Seatbelts are adjustable in the front and 2nd rows and there is LATCH for kids included as standard too.
Technology
Entune Premium JBL Audio with integrasted navigation and app suite comes as standard with a 9″ touchscreen that also has a backup camera view. In the rear seats there is DVD entertainment systems with 2 11.6″ screens and wireless headphones too.

Engine
The 5.7L DOHC 32 valve V8 is standard across the Land Cruiser range. The colossal engine produces 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. The standard engine is the 8-speed ECT-i with up and downhill shift logic. In terms of fuel efficiency, the Land Cruiser scores 13/18/15 city/highway/combined MPG ratings.
