What’s New
Perhaps the newest addition to this car that looks largely the same as it used to a before, is the change from its super powerful SRT model to the TrackHawk model, which has an extremely sporty feel to it. In it’s 4th generation, the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee is still the great everyday companion it always has been. By opting for the 4×4 drive, off-road is more than a possibility, but the main reason consumers like this SUV? The car-like feel to the drive.
Exterior
The Grand Cherokee features distinctive lower front and rear fascia and a large aerodynamic spoiler. The grille is a new take on the seven-slot traditional grille that Jeep features in most all its models. You can get the Grand Cherokee with traditional headlamps or you can opt for the Bi-Xenon High-Intensity Discharge Headlamps. If you opt for the slightly pricier Summit California Edition you get 20” platinum aluminum wheels, body-colored door handles, mirrors and more.

Interior
If you like leather interior, then it may be an idea to opt for the Summit version of the Grand Cherokee. It comes with leather finish from top to bottom, with its high quality leather covering almost very feature of the interior. Still a 2-row vehicle, the 2017 Grand Cherokee has improved on interior spacing. The Summit and Overland trims both come with an extra-large sunroof that covers both front and rear seats.
Tech
Like the Patriot, the Grand Cherokee offers you the latest UCONNECT technology that will keep you connected but focused. It has a 3G Wi-Fi hotspot, remote services and Yelp.
Engine
The engine options are perhaps the ones that are the most exciting, even though all the others are of course nice too. The standard engine is the 3.6l V6 24V engine that produces 293 hp, and the 3.0.l Ecodiesel V6 engine that produces 240 hp. If you want more power, you can opt for the Grand Cherokee TrackHawk which was formerly known as the SRT. It comes with immense power.
