The 2017 Chevrolet Traverse has seating for up to 8 passengers and is one of the best family SUVs on the market. The 2017 model has upgraded suspension, a new fifth door, and 17 or 20″ wheel options too.
Exterior
It features a chrome grille with the standard Chevrolet golden cross in the middle. Its headlights wrap nicely around the sides and it is available in a variety of colors. The Traverse also has a fairly large air vent channeling air into its engine. Furthermore, you can also choose to have effective LED lights installed. In terms of exhaust pipes you will see one placed on either side of the Traverse’s rear. It comes standard with 17” steel wheels with an option to upgrade to 20″ wheels.

Interior
The cargo capacity of this 80-seater is impressive as it can hold up to 115 cubic feet of stuff when the seats are folded. As mentioned it can hold up to 8 passengers in a 3-row seating arrangement. Dominating the dashboard is an 8.7” display working as the control center for the infotainment system. Not only does the Traverse see a lot of cargo space, it also has ample head and leg-room.
Tech
In terms of technological extras that you can purchase you can get a wireless headset, a rear seat entertainment system, a remote start kit a tablet holder or even a portable music player. You can also add 4G LTE with a built in Wi-Fi hot spot.
Engine
The Traverse comes with a standard 3.6L V6 Gas engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The estimated EOA rating comes in at only 15/ city and 22 highway MPG which is pretty low for any class. The SUV does have a 281 horsepower ability and does drive like a car rather than an 8-seater though which is definitely a plus for a lot of drivers.

Safety
It comes with an approved airbag system, OnStar automatic crash response, and rear vision cameras. There’s also a tire pressure monitoring system, traction control and many other safety features designed to keep the cabin safe.
