Exterior
The all-new 2017 BMW X3 displays a newly updated look with a strikingly streamlined body. It is tall yet more graceful than the X5. There are twin circular headlights up front, BMW’s kidney grille, and other minor tweaks. 18″ wheels comes as standard with the X3 with 19″ wheels available at extra cost.

Interior
The interior of BMW x3 is so unique and stylish. From its conventional, simple gauges to its sensible ergonomics and understated sense of style. Most of the surfaces are secured in high caliber and rich-looking materials, while the middle stack cats a bit towards the driver for a cozier feel. There are more neutral leather interior colors available for 2017 and the dash has been fitted with soft-touch material.
Safety
The X3 has a good record of safety. The Foreign testers have given it 5 stars to its overall safety features. The Independent IIHS has given it good scores in every crash experiment top. It also has some additional safety features that include collision alert, emergency brakes, parking assist, and lane departure warnings.
Technology
This updated version of BMW x3 2017 has updated controls, a new integrated design which enhances inside space and comfort, and the most recent BMW technology. The tech sector went through an overhaul last year and as a result, iDrive (or BMW’s infortainment system) has been upgraded to include voice recognition and easier navigation. There are 3-D city maps also available through the platform.

Engine:
The 2.0L Intercooled Turbo Inline 4-cylinder is the standard engine for the X3. The engine is matched with an 8-speed STEPTRONIC automatic transmission. EPA fuel efficiency ratings score the 2017 BMW X3 at 21 mpg city and 28 mpg highway – 23 MPG combined. The engine produces 240 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
