Quiet and composed the 2016 Nissan Murano is a superb ride. It drives as smart as it looks and its CVT has gone through some great improvements compared to previous models. There are 8 different color finishes available from ‘pacific sunset’ (orange) to pearl white. The design is sleek and modern with Nissan’s V-motion grille flaring outwards.

Interior Features
This crossover adapts to even the shorter drivers with a low-set dashboard. There is plenty of space for passengers and a very respectable cargo space. The quietness of the cabin is unrivaled with serious smoothness on the road. The seats are ‘zero gravity’ and contoured to fit an adult’s back comfortably so even for long range drives this is a great pick. If you opt for the Platinum model (starts at $39,100), you have the option of heated and cooled front seats, and heated rear seats.
Technology
The basic model comes equipped with 6 speakers, Bluetooth audio streaming wireless technology, and steering wheel mounted audio controls. There is the option to add rear USB ports for portable devices.
If you opt for the premium model, the steering wheel comes heated and power tilted. There is also climate control included in the upgraded model.
Engine/ Fuel Efficiency
The 3.5L DOHC V6 engine is pretty powerful when you consider the small price tag. With a 260 horsepower and 21/ City, 28/ Highway MPG, the 2016 Nissan Murano is great on fuel consumption.

Safety
The Nissan Advanced Air Bag system comes as standard with the Murano S – the basic model. There is vehicle dynamic control, active brake limited slip, and tire pressure monitoring as standard. In terms of the design, there is safety measures in the high-strength steel side-door guard beams and hood buckling creases.
