What’s New?

The 2016 GS lineup introduces the new GS 200t with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine while the GS 350 earns a modest power rise. Front and rear fascias have been improved while navigation is currently standard on GS 350. The Lexus Safety System +, and a modern driver assistance package are optional. The Lexus Enform Service Connect infotainment system has also been added across the lineup.

Exterior Features

The GS gains modern front styling, filled with a more dramatic spindle-style grille, and special design detailing, functional air intakes and cooling ducts, and the quad exhaust outlets like those of the now-removed Lexus IS F performance sedan.

The Lexus GS F now rides on staggered-width, fronting red painted brake calipers, split-spoke 19-inch aluminum wheels, and the wrapped in low-profile performance tires.

Interior Features

Inside, the performance seats of Lexus GS F model are very notable. Featuring substantial side bolsters and a two-tone design, the seats has stylized “pass-throughs” that, if functional, would accommodate a five-point racing harness. Dynamic digital instrumentation entirely sets the GS F apart from GS 350 F Sport, and this fresh performance model is provided with carbon-fiber dashboard trim.

Technology

The 2016 Lexus GS is available with a navigation system, and head-up display. The Mark Levinson premium audio system, and Lexus Enform services’ variety are also available in the sedan.

Engine/ Fuel Efficiency

The sports sedan boasts a 5.0L, 4-cylinder engine and produces a 467 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque. The car comes with an 8–speed automatic transmission with the capability to reach 60mph in only 7 seconds. Fuel economy is the major high in this Lexus since it provides 29/34 MPG. Fuel economy is attained without undermining the acceleration and performance of a car. This level of fuel economy therefore means that even if you’re not looking for a family car, you get all the economics of one as well as all the fun.
