Engine/ Fuel Efficiency
For 2016, the standard Acura RLX comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 310HP and 272 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive and the 6-speed automatic transmission are also standard. The Sports Hybrid delivers superior fuel economy and acceleration. In some testing, it zipped to 60 Miles per hour in a quick 5.4 seconds. The EPA lists fuel-economy at 30 MPG combined (28/32 city/highway).

Safety
The 2016 Acura RLX got the greatest crash-test safety rating possible of 5-stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. In addition, the 2016 Acura RLX gained an excellent rating of ‘good’ in all crash tests conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
New safety features readily available for the Acura RLX include a departure road mitigation, a 360-degree camera system, and the rear cross-traffic alert.
