The 2016 model of the BMW i3 is a small step in change from the 2015 model. This year’s model of the BMW i3 comes in Capparis white, fluid black, ionic silver metallic, mineral gray, platinum silver and solar orange metallic. The car comes equipped with 19” alloy wheels and very low profile, all-season tires. The patented blue trim designs for BMW make an appearance in the front grill and alongside the side trim. Large amounts of the back, top, and sides of the vehicle are made up of glass windows.

The electric engine on this i3 sports model is capable of 170 horsepower and 184 lb-ft torque. The engine accelerates the car from 0-60 MPH in 7 seconds. The one-speed direct drive transmission makes control easier than ever. This model comes with rear wheel drive. The overall MPGe on a full charge is 117 miles.

Safety
There are Dual front side-mounted airbags, emergency braking assist, engine immobilizer, ventilated disk brakes, 4 wheel ABS and stability traction control. This along with the parking assist package and carbon fiber reinforced frame makes for a safer BMW.
