The F-Type is replacing the E-Type and is essentially, a driver’s car. This is not one to take for a test drive with your kids!
Exterior Features
It is definitely a muscular car but also lightweight. Its proportions and construction allow for excellent handling and nimble cornering abilities. With a subtle grille that allows for a cooling airflow into the under body of the car, and a drop top that can be lowered in 12 seconds at speeds of up to 30 MPH, which also comes in a choice of materials including aluminium, panoramic glass and carbon fiber, you;re spoiled for choice. The door handles only retract when needed and the LED rear lights are both side sweeping and slimline.

Interior Features
There is a driver-focused seating up front with easy-to-use controls, and a three-spoke steering wheel which not only guarantees control, but in the automatic model, it also has all the selector paddles mounted behind the spokes so you can choose your gear without taking your hands from the wheel. There are several options in choosing your seat including the material, and color allowing you to truly personalize your sports car.
Technology
The 8″ touch screen display that comes as standard with the F-Type is equipped with GPS navigation, climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, and different audio choices. You can connect your smartphone, iPod, or MP3 players to the center console and you can activate Wi-Fi connectivity and Jaguar Incontrol Remote which allows you to monitor your Jaguar through your smartphone.
Engine/ Fuel Efficiency
The supercharge, V6 3.0 liter engine boasts up to 340 horsepower and a 5.5 second 0-60 mph acceleration. The top speed the F-Type is 161mph and with the 6-speed manual transmission, you’re in control of the car. The estimated EPA fuel efficiency of the F-Type is 16 city/ 24 highway – a surprisingly good figure for such a performance based car!

Safety
In terms of safety, the F-Type has 2 front and 2 side airbags. Sensors can detect the size and weight of driver and passenger, allowing airbags to deploy appropriately, ensuring your safety. As an optional feature, driver assistance features are also available. These include park assist, with audible warnings for any possible collisions.
