What’s New?

This luxury convertible comes at a great time for Chevrolet, with its sales in the U.S having soared by 7% to 195,598 last year. The 2016 Camaro Convertible gets several new exterior features including an updated grille, front fascia, LED fog lamps and 20 inch polished aluminum wheels. It also gets new safety features such as parallel parking assistance, lane departure warning and perpendicular parking assistance.

Exterior Features

Due to the smaller, lighter architecture of the 2016 Camaro, the exterior is now tighter and sleeker. The car is up to 390 pounds lighter allowing for more responsive braking, and a more nimble performance. There is a fastback profile and the aerodynamic design means that no matter which color you choose, you will be noticed. The color options include black, white, deep and light blue, red, and yellow. The drop top can be lowered up to speeds of 30 MPH.

With ApplePlay, Head-Up Display, voice activated controls and a wireless phone charging pad as optional extras, you can make your Chevvy Camaro extra unique.

Engine/ Fuel Efficiency

The 2016 Camaro is offered in four trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 1SS and 2SS. It is actually the most fuel efficient Camaro to date. The 2.0L turbocharged four puts out an impressive 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque while posting a 0-60 mph time of 5.4 seconds and returning an estimated 30 mpg on the highway, according to GM. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard but an 8-speed automatic transmission with steering paddles is available.
