What’s New?

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class line has become even more elegant than before. There have been minor improvements to both the interior and exterior but you’re guaranteed a luxurious drive regardless. The line hasn’t gone through extensive equipment improvements but there weren’t many changes needed anyway!

Exterior Features

Smooth power and crisp handling provide the sporty performance you always expect from an E-Class. Available 18″ AMG wheels and self-leveling AIRMATIC rear suspension result in good handling of changing roads. While the driver appreciates the road below, the readily available Panorama roof also welcomes in the sky.

In an E-Class Wagon, the enjoyment is universal.

Intriguing lighting maintains an icon at the forefront. The LED headlamps, and the available active full-LED headlamps enhance your daytime presence and nighttime vision. Actually, LEDs are stylishly employed for all exterior lamps, from special Daytime Running Lamps to the sweeping tail-lamps.

Interior Features

The interior of the modern E-Class embodies the synthesis of intelligence and emotion. Optional additions include 2 next-generation high-resolution screens, each measured at a whopping 12.3 inches. Under their shared glass cover, the 2 screens visually conflate into a broad-screen cockpit which seems to be hovering in the thin air, developing a central element which emphasizes the horizontal alignment of the interior design.

Standard equipment includes Smart Key entry, power front seats, dual-zone climate control, and an integrated garage-door opener. The E-Class line also comes equipped with cruise control, ambient lighting and rain-sensing intermittent wipers. The COMAND controller and screen-based system are also included. They bring together DVD/CD, radio, and the Bluetooth interface, as well as a memory-card slot.

Engine/ Fuel Efficiency

There is a 2.1-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine which generates 195 HP and 369 lb-ft of torque. The EPA rating is 28 MPG city, 42 MPG highway, and 33 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive. All-wheel-drive consumption-estimate is at 27 MPG city/38 MPG highway/31 mpg combined.

The 2016 model is equipped with top-tier technologies that assist in your peace of mind for every mile. Standard features on the E-Class include stability control, antilock disc brakes, and a driver drowsiness monitor. Front and front-side, driver knee and pelvic and side curtain airbags also come standard.
