The fuel economy is fantastic with 20/ City, 30/ Highway mpg rating which is a combined 25 mpg. This is an excellent rating for the SUV class. The 2016 Ford Edge comes standard with front wheel drive and a 6-speed shiftable automatic transmission.
Safety wise, the 2016 Ford Edge is great; as standard there are several features. The edge comes with front and rear-head, and front side-mounted airbags. The SUV also comes with passenger airbag occupant sensors. Traction control, tire pressure monitoring, and emergency braking assist are also standard features in Ford’s newest model.
