Following its debut previous year, the 2016 Lexus NX gets advanced connectivity through Enform Connect of Lexus that provides drivers access to vehicle diagnostics and maintenance updates.

Exterior Features

The 2016 Lexus NX comes standard with LED illumination for the door handles, heated side mirrors, a smart key, and 17-inch ten-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

Interior Features

Standard features include push-button start, Bluetooth, dual-zone automatic climate control, HD Radio, satellite radio, an 8-speaker audio system, Siri Eyes Free, a USB port, a Seven-inch display operated by the console-mounted joystick controller and the rearview camera.

Available features include wireless phone charging, a moonroof, voice recognition, navigation with Remote Touch touchpad controller of Lexus, the Lexus Enform App Suite, Blind spot monitoring, a ten-speaker audio system, rear cross traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and the forward collision warning


The Navigation package boasts the voice-activated navigation system, but also adds a touchpad to assist control the system, and a host of other great technology features. These include Enform app suite of Lexus, SiriusXM satellite radio a ten-speaker premium sound system, and an extra USB port.

Engine/ Fuel Efficiency

The car is specifically made with a 235 HP, 2.5 liters, four-cylinder hybrid engine. Fuel consumption-rate is at 35/31 MPG that’s remarkable for traveling for long distances without any sign of underperformance.


In crash-testing conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Lexus NX earned a 5-star rating. The NX also earned the excellent Top Safety Pick+ score from the entire Lexus lineup.

When it comes to available safety equipment, both the NX and X3 provide just about everything you might need. Both SUVs come standard with a broad range of features (such as anti-lock brakes, and traction control). There are also many great options, such as a lane-departure warning, and blind spot monitoring systems. As well as an airbag system, there are LED headlights and the forward-collision warning with automatic braking too.
