Exterior Features

The luxury crossover comes in 7 different trims but for the 2.0T 18″ wheels are standard with the option to upgrade to 19″. There is a panoramic sunroof, aluminium roof rails with crossbars, LED running and tail lights, and a power liftgate. Color options go anywhere from metallic silver to a custom choice (at an extra cost).

Interior Features

The 2016 Audi Q5 comes with leather upholstery and an 8-way powered driver’s seat with 4-way lumbar adjustment. The rear seats split 40/20/40 and fold to increase the cargo space. They are ‘pass through’ and have adjustable recline. The cabin is roomy and comfortable. With so much space in a compact crossover, you can’t go wrong whether it’s going to be a family car or just for you.

Technology

The 2016 Audi Q5 comes with the tri-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth phone connectivity, a ten-speaker audio system, satellite radio, a panoramic sunroof, and the MMI infotainment system of Audi with a 6.5-inch color display screen.

Available features include a rearview camera, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system, blind spot monitoring, an improved MMI system with Bluetooth audio connectivity and navigation and Audi Connect that offer Wi-Fi for up to 8 devices and lets the navigation system to access and even display Google Earth images.

Engine/ Fuel Efficiency

Driving the 2016 Audi Q5 is a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine which produces 220 horsepower. The Q5 3.0T now comes with the supercharged V6 engine which puts out 272 horsepower, while the Q5 TDI boast a 240 horsepower turbo-diesel V6 engine.  The Q5 Hybrid features a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine which produces 245HP, and the performance-oriented Audi SQ5 features a supercharged V6 engine which makes 354 horsepower. An 8-speed automatic transmission is standard on all models.

According to the EPA, the base Audi Q5 gets 20/28 MPG city/highway which is solid for its class.

Safety

In addition to providing the AcuraWatch option package, they have strengthened the underlying structure of the RDX too. The newest updates should get the Q5 a five-star overall crash-test rating from the NHTSA and a “Top Safety Choice” rating from the IIHS.
